"Cesc Fabregas replies Transfer Rumours"Am surprised by the rumours in England and the club told me they have no intention of selling me."

MANCHESTER UNITED may have to rethink their plans as they look set to be snubbed in their pursuit of Cesc Fabregas. David Moyes has been drawing up a shortlist of midfield targets including Fiorentina's Adem Ljajic and Everton's Marouane Fellaini. Fabregas was sold to the Camp Nou giants two years ago in a £30m deal, and the Gunners have a first option agreement to buy him back. But according to La Liga expert and Sky Sports pundit, Guillem Balague, Fabregas has a £170m release clause inserted into his contract which will act as a deterrent to potential suitors. He said: "He'll be at Barcelona next season. He (Cesc) is surprised by the rumours in England and the club told me they have no intention of selling him. Adem Ljajic and Marouane Fellaini are also on Manchester United's wish list "If anything was going to happen, it will happen in the future, next year who knows. "He will stay at Barcelona. He started the season strongly- he's said it's harder than he expected to be as you have to be more disciplined and doesn't have as much freedom than when he was at Arsenal." Fabregas contributed 10 goals in Barca's title-winning campaign last season.
