Peter P-Square, last Tuesday, surprised everyone when he finally proposed to Lola Omotayo, his long time girlfriend and babymama with a diamond ring and a brand new white Range Rover Vogue worth N15 million.
Peter, I hear, didn't give Lola prior notice of his plan.
He had visited her residence with the car, parked it inside her compound with the rose flower and a love card with the inscription, 'Please say Yes.'
Speaking on why he decided to propose to Lola, Peter said:
It is something I had always wanted to do and I knew I would definitely do this to Lola one day, but I needed to wait for the right time. Honestly, she deserves even more from me."


On her own, Lola said:
It is a day the Lord has made. I'm excited the way any woman in my shoes would."


The proposal put to rest the widespread criticisms that have trailed their relationship over the years.

Our attention has yet been drawn to the unscrupulous elements who are continuously seeking ways of denting the  image of our reputable client, Femi Adebayo, a Nollywood actor/producer-cum-founder of J-15 School of Performing Arts. Femi,one of the sons of veteran actor Adebayo Salami aka Oga Bello, has always been a good ambassador of the Yoruba movie industry which his father is a pioneer of. Since inception,the Adebayos have steered clear of trouble and championed good causes for the industry.

On Sunday, 3rd August 2013, a call was placed to Femi Adebayo by an unknown journalist who claimed to be a blogger. The blackmailer interrogated him on a purported allegation that he reportedly collected the sum of 8 million naira from a woman called Lara who is based outside the country. This has come as a shock to our client. The 8 million naira is said to be money for a movie production for her which Femi Adebayo was never involved in at any point till this moment. The blogger also alleged the unknown Lara is romantically linked to Femi - these claims  Femi has said there is nothing of such nature.

Subsequently, another journalist who claimed to be an entertainment reporter also called Femi Adebayo on Thursday, 8th August 2013, at about 8pm in  respect of the unpalatable allegation which he admitted was a fallacy. Not only that, the journalist threatened him over the story.

Sequel to this, the lawyer-turned-actor aka Jelili has debunked the allegations through his publicist, Mr. Gbolahan Adetayo that he has never done any business with anyone outside the country in relation to the  mentioned claims:" I have never collected any kobo from any woman outside the country to shoot a movie for her. I have been shooting  big-budget movies in the past which I sponsored from my personal purse or by my markerters. Just of recent, I shot 4 blockbuster movies and music videos - they are Sonto Alapata, Buga, Ila and Fuji Tabi Theatre together with other actors and music stars".He further disclosed that:" I have released 3 out of the 4 and the fourth one "Ila" will hit the shelves soonest. When I was called by a blogger-cum-journalist to ask me about the story, I told him there is nothing like that. If there is any evidence to prove it, let the person bluntly come out to show the world. I  saw no evidence of truth in his purported claims. I have been in the industry now for a while, dishing out my things excellently. So I don't know where the bad belles are cooking up their false news from".

Femi Adebayo is an award-winning popular Yoruba actor who is highly sought-after in the industry. He has endeared himself to many with his skillful interpretation of roles. He is an actor who has continued to train upcoming actors at his Ibadan-based J-15 Drama School.

Church angry at Ngozi Nwosu's hasty return to set

There are indications that the pastor and members of Christ Tabernacle International Christian Center, Maryland, Ikeja, are not happy with their celebrity church member, NgoziNwosu.

This is due to the fact that Ngozi`s brethren believe the ailing actress who had just undergone kidney operations in UK is not fit enough to start work this soon.

It is widely reported that Ngozi, soon after her return from the UK hospital, had returned to the set of popular TV Series, Fuji House of Commotion. The church is led by Prophet David Emmanuel Bassey.

A reliable source who is a prominent member in the church revealed to NOLLYWOOD INSIDER last week that, "As I speak with you; its baffling to the church, the pastor and his wife that Ngozi had returned to work when she is not physically fit. This is a woman who can't even stand up on her feet for too long. When you see her stand or walk, she wobbles. What is she looking for or doing on a movie set so early? Or does she want to kill herself?"

Meanwhile, Ngozi is said to have donated the sum of N1m to the church on the day of her thanksgiving service. But what is not clear to NI as at the time of going to press is if the once robust and bubbly actress has paid the promised sum.

The unfolding event buttresses the earlier claim to NI in a previous report on the actress, by her one time councilor nurse at the Medical Center Yaba, that Ngozi has always been a stubborn person. If not, as the source puts it, why on earth would she take on such a suicidal mission that could easily terminate her life?

However, when NI called Ngozi to felicitate with heron her birthday and to get her comment on her church worries over her health and immediate return to set, she replied from her U.K abode, "Thanks. I can't speak to you now. Call me next week when I come back to Nigeria"
