There are reports that Pastor Chris Okotie of the Household of God
Church, Lagos may have found love again after ending his marriage with
his ex-wife in 2012.

in Lagos. She just got a brand new car love gift from her pastor
friend and the word got out.

wifely shoes soon.

Gunmen kill 29 students, teacher in Yobe

An unspecified number of gunmen attacked and killed 29 students and
one teacher at Government Secondary School at Mamudo, about five
kilometres from Potiskum in Yobe State at about 3.00am today

Survivors are being treated for gunshot wounds and burns at Potiskum
General Hospital. The gunmen are suspected to be members of Boko
Haram.

An English teacher, Mohammed Musa, the victim, was shot in the chest,
according to another teacher Ibrahim Abdu.

Fifteen-year-old Musa Hassan, a student, told newsmen at the hospital:
"We were sleeping when we heard gunshots. When I woke up, someone was
pointing a gun at me."

He put his hands up to cover his face in defence and suffered a
gunshot that blew off all four fingers on his right hand which he uses
to write with.

Hassan said the gunmen came with jerry cans of fuel which they used to
torch the school's administration block and one of the hostels.

"They burned the students alive," he said, the horror showing in his wide eyes.

It is believed that dozens of children from the 1,200-students school
escaped into the bush. Many have not been seen since. Some bodies were
so charred they could not be identified, so many parents do not know
if their children survived the attack.

Yobe was one of the three states, in which Federal Government declared
a state of emergency mid-May. No word yet from the special forces
about the attack.

Rooney is staying at Manchester United, says Moyes

David Moyes has insisted striker Wayne Rooney is not for sale and will
remain a Manchester United player.
The 50-year-old attended his first press conference as Sir Alex
Ferguson's successor at Old Trafford and immediately faced questions
on Rooney's future at the club.
Despite refusing to state whether the player categorically asked to
leave the club, Moyes was adamant that the England international is
not for sale and is working well under his management.
"I'm sure it's a question on your lips and you couldn't wait to get it
out, but the fact of the matter is Wayne's not for sale," Moyes told
reporters.
"He's a Manchester United player and will remain a Manchester United
player. Let's not kid ourselves, he's a terrific player and he won't
be for sale.
"We've spoken several times and I'm saying whatever has happened
before has gone, we're working together now.
"I see a little glint in his eye at the moment. He looks happy, he
looks as if he's saying 'I'm going to knuckle down, I'm going to get
myself right' and I can only say I've been impress with how he's
done."

Conjoined Twins With 1 Liver, 1 kidney & 1 intestine born to Abuja Jobless Couple

The conjoined twins were delivered at about 7 pm on July 2, 2013 at
LUNA Hospital in Gwarinpa, Abuja. The babies are joined from the
stomach and chest down. They have three legs joined together, one
liver, one kidney and one intestine." Ironically, the scan that was
conducted didn't reveal that it was conjoined twins.
The 32-year-old resident of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, who
is from Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, and his
30-year-old wife, are currently at a loss.
He said, "The scan was done but we were not informed that it was
conjoined twins. When we were told that the babies were twins, we were
all happy. For now, my wife is still in the hospital, although not
fully recovered. But she is responding to treatment."

Bassey's hopes were dashed when the management of the National
Hospital told him that they had done their best but there was no hope
that they could do the separation.
He said, "The doctors at the National Hospital said they have tried
their best, including scanning and everything they could do within
their power.
"They said there was nothing else they could do in that unit. But they
told me that if I have anywhere in the world where the babies could be
separated, they would assist and send an e-mail and refer the babies
to that place.
"At what cost? For now, they have not told me but they said they could
not do the separation here and would not know where they could
transfer the babies," Bassey stated.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the National Hospital, Dr. Tayo
Haastrup, said, "The babies were not delivered in the National
Hospital. They were delivered through a Caesarean section in a
hospital somewhere in Gwarinpa; they are fine and their mother is
still in the hospital, where she delivered the children. But the
babies are now in our Special Care Babies Unit."
When asked if any surgery had been done to separate conjoined babies,
Haastrup replied in the negative.
He said, "Surgical operation is not the issue for now; but we have
carried out some tests and other things to find out their state of
health. They are lying now well in SCBU as I am speaking to you."

Glo X Factor judges, M.I Abaga, Onyeka Onwenu and Rockstone at war

The battle for Globacom's N24 million prize money for the winner of X
Factor,  has assumed an interesting dimension with the judges of the
show taking on each other at the Boot Camp.
As the remaining contestants at the camp battle to secure a place in
the Top 9 stage of the contest, the judges are also seeking to out-do
each other to ensure that the candidates they are mentoring do not
only go far in the competition but also end up winning the ultimate
prize.

The contestants are divided among the three judges – Onyeka Onwenu, MI
and Reggie Rockstone, whose duty it is to mentor the singers assigned
to them and help prepare them for the live performances and progress
in the contest. The contestants are grouped into the "Under 23", "Over
23" and "Group singers".
Rockstone, father of hiplife music in Ghana, fired the first salvo.
"This is war. I need the best army to go to this war," he declared.
"People say I am cocky, I'm over-confident or whatever. So I'm going
to stay that way. But tell you something, I don't know what category
or who I am mentoring. But everything I touch, Midas, gold. I am
winning this competition," he boasted in his American accent.
"For me, this is do or die," MI fired back. "It is MI's time now. And
that difference is going to show. I am not looking for great. I am not
looking for average or okay, I am looking for someone with the 'X' and
he is going to come from my camp,"
The Elegant Stallion is not to be outdone either. "I am ready. I do
not take risks. I know about entertainment. Period. I can work with
any of the groups but I think the real challenge for me will be to
work with the 'Under 23' and that is what I will like to do", Onyeka
stated, promising to work hard to ensure that her group produces the
winner of Glo X Factor.
