Moyes Loses First Game As Head Coach Of Manchester United.

Sir Alex Ferguson's first game in charge of Manchester United was a
2-0 loss at Oxford United, likewise new manager, David Moyes who
suffered a 1-0 defeat to Singha All Stars in Thailand on Saturday.

All Star Captain, Teeratep Winothai scored the only goal on 50 minutes
at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, beating Ben Amos at
his near post.
"It wasn't a brilliant result but this wasn't one we desperately
needed to win," said Moyes.
"It is one we needed to get prepared to win games."
In the absence of Robin van Persie, Nani, David de Gea, Javier
Hernandez, Nemanja Vidic and Wayne Rooney; 18-year-old Adnan Januzaj
shone in the midfield for United while former Crystal Palace winger
Wilfred Zaha was unlucky not to score an equalizer on his debut, his
shot hitting the far post with just eight minutes to play.

"Wilfried did well," said Moyes. "He gave us something different.
"We have brought him here to give him a chance. It is the first time I
have worked with him and had a chance to see him up close.
"He will certainly be part of the squad and we will see where we can
fit him in as often as we can."
United now travel to Sydney, where Van Persie and David de Gea will
join the squad.
