Chelsea's Fernando Torres brushes off Barcelona rumours as he welcomes Jose Mourinho talks

Fernando Torres is keen to talk to Jose Mourinho about hsi future

The misfiring 29-year-old has failed to recapture the form he showed when he was at Liverpool, although proved instrumental in helping the Blues lift the Europa League last season.

Barcelona have been hovering around Torres, who is currently on international duty with Spain at the Confederations Cup.

Mourinho, who labelled Torres's form as 'so-so', is considering whether to use him as bait in order to land Edinson Cavani.

"I look forward to talking with Mourinho and to know what plans he has for me," Torres told Spanish radio station Onda Cero.

"The first thing I am aware of is he will expect much more from me, I expect more from me. Now I have pressure Mourinho adds and that's a challenge for a player."

Torres hit 22 goals in all competitions for Chelsea last season.
