FORMER Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, whose Real Madrid contract runs until 2015, yesterday denied speculation he has signed a fresh deal by tweeting: “The news about my renewal with Real Madrid is false.”
Real Madrid President Florentino Perez wants to tie-down the forward on a new long-term deal to end interest from England and France.
However the 28-year-old has announced that talk of a new five-year-contract renewal is not true.
"All the news about my renewal with Real Madrid are false," said Ronaldo.

The news is likely to advance moves by new Manchester United manager David Moyes who is keen to bring the former Reds favourite back to Old Trafford.
Ronaldo joined United in 2003, winning three Premier League titles and one Champions League before making his record breaking £80million transfer to Madrid.
"I am going to be as clear as possible," Perez told Marca. "My aim, Cristiano's aim, and the aim of all Real Madrid fans is that he carries on playing here for many years to come.
"And when so many people want the same thing then it usually turns out to be the case. I myself and Real Madrid both want that. The player, Cristiano Ronaldo wants that...Without a shadow of a doubt.'
"He has two years left on his contract. Anyone would think he was leaving tomorrow. What we would like is for him to stay even longer. The future of our project revolves around him."
