CR7 has revealed he has not had talks with Real Madrid about his
future since the departure of Jose Mourinho over a week ago.
The announcement comes amidst growing speculation that the Portugese
winger is set for a sensational return to English football with
Manchester United, rumours that were only strengthened with news last
week that the superstar has put his Spanish mansion on the market.
Asked about a new contract following Portugal's World Cup qualifier
against Russia, Ronaldo said: "I have not spoken with anyone yet but
the most important thing is the team"
After helping his country secure a vital win over their Group F
rivals, the 28-year-old also took the opportunity to hit back at
former manager Mourinho, seemingly ruling out the possibility of a
summer switch to Chelsea.
In response to Mourinho's suggestion that Ronaldo "thinks he knows
everything", the player responded: "You think I'm worried about that?
I'm concerned with the national team, that's what matters most to me
not the opinion of others."
